臺北時間1月14據名記Jeff Passan報導，凌晨聯盟公佈了關於空人「暗號門」的處罰結果，隨即太空人的老闆Jim Krane宣佈解除捲入這醜聞的球隊總經理Jeff Luhnow和總教練A.J. Hinch的職務。
BREAKING: Houston Astros GM Jeff Luhnow and manager AJ Hinch have been suspended for one year after an MLB investigation found the team used technology to cheat during its World Series-winning 2017 season, sources familiar with the punishment tell ESPN.

而在17年世界大賽達比修有正好是道奇隊的一員，當時它們與太空人苦戰到G7！聽到太空人被懲處消息，他今天也在推特發文說，「如果道奇要辦17年世界大賽冠軍遊行，我很樂意參加，如果這件事有在做的話，誰能幫我作一件『Yu Garbage』（你是垃圾）球衣給我嗎？」

達比在17年身披道奇戰袍，他世界大賽兩度遭太空人打爆，包含G3先發投1.2局4分、G7投1.2局掉5分，當時被外界批評為戰犯，如今太空人遭爆料運用電子裝置偷暗號，外媒認為他恐怕是受害者之一。
當然或許他當時狀況也不好，不過難免會為他抱屈，至少他是堂堂正正在跟打者拚戰，而另一位苦主則是Clayton Kershaw，季後賽他狀態始終不佳，但當年也遭太空人狙擊，如今他聽到作弊屬實恐怕也不好受。
而達比修有妻子山本聖子也在推特發文，他曝光3年前世界大賽G7看到10歲兒子用帽子掩住眼淚的痛心畫面。他藉此回應丈夫的話，他說：「如果真的有封王遊行就太棒了，我永遠忘不了當時10歲兒子一路把比賽看完，但最後卻試著用帽子掩住眼淚的模樣！」

山本發文也引球迷不捨，有人留言表示看紅了眼眶，也有人回：「那是一場艱辛比賽，但達比能告訴自己的孩子他不是靠作弊贏球，可以樹立很好的典範。」
